My mom is a Labor & Delivery nurse at a hospital here. One time she delivered a kid that the parents named Nacho Tostito.

She also told me of this Arabic couple that had a kid they named Shithead, pronounced Sha-theed.

I really like the names Tobias (toby for short) and Seren (welsh name meaning star). They're not that common here and now but they're not ridiculous either.

I was in class with lads called Rockley and Hamish when growing up, and both were deeply damaged by their early teens.

I met the guy called Hamish about 10 yrs later in a bar and he was truly wacko (fucking HUGE great ginger beard, wild red hair, wearing all white like a religious guru). He got frustrated at the length of time it was taking to get served, so casually walked in behind the bar & sarcastically said to me, 'So, what'll you be having, Sir?' and started pulling pints of beer. I tell you what - that was the quickest I've ever been thrown out of a place in my life...

Legally, I am still my maiden name. But I do use Ned's names where possible, because his last name rules.
