How many Daves do you have?

You can't just call Dave-Offs willy nilly.

I don't know any Davids, but I've heard they can be touchy about being called 'Dave'.

i have one dave, david actually & i'm married to him. it does seem to be, dare i say it, a common name.

I'm a Dave.

Hahaha, you are so right. I called my David Dave when we first got together & only found out later on he didn't like to be called that. I asked why he never said anything & he said it wasn't a big deal but i could tell it was. So i retaught myself to call him DavID.

I wonder if Michelangelo referred to his sculpture as Dave.

I don't have any Davids in my cell. I don't think I know any Davids. David. Ha! What a pretentious name. It's like being called Randall or something.

i don't have any dave's, but i've got several phone numbers for some people and i can't recall which is the most recent. so i just don't contact them. ever.

at one point in college there was a house where all four tenants were Daves.

Out of all the Johns...all nine of them, seven are spelled "John" and two are spelled "Jon."

I've also got three "Matts" and one "Mat." Yeah. Like it's really spelled like that on his birth certificate.
