i can't remember the last time my whole house was clean.

I don't think anyones house is ever totally clean though, i admit I work 50 hrs a week and mr namto is the head of a software engineering company and he has a business with the uni of nottihgham and programmes two evenings a week and is doing part time phd so we don't have the time to have a show house but hey who does?

the only show type house I have ever seen was growing uo was my parents as my mum had a awful childhood and ocd as i do
my parents houses have always been freakishly clean but thats down to my mums bringing up and issues with that

Yeah, this is my style pretty much. Not perfect, but not embarassing. Just a little lived in, a couple piles of paperwork and some sweaters/scarves/shoes hanging around. Maybe a laundry basket out or a pan in the sink.

Yep, I keep my apartment pretty neat but not sterile looking. I like a comfortable place. I have to keep it kinda clean because its a studio and there isn't that much room.

yeah. I was MUCH better about cleaning when I had a studio. And the rent was awesome ($150/mo - it was South Dakota). Man, I miss that. I wonder if Adam would go for it...

jesus. even where i went to college it wasn't that cheap. i can't even mentally process rents being that low.

It was a college town - Brookings, SD - and I know that they raised the rent after I left. It's funny, it was my first apartment so I didn't even know what a good deal I was getting. I spent a long time after that looking for apartments 'around $200' and thought that was reasonable.

Shit, I spend $150 on food in a week.
