I like to give the impression of being clean and orderly.

hell no. oh god. I've been "single" for about 3 weeks now. I am an incredible slob when I know no one is looking.

I just got off work and I'm drinking coffee drinks right now to work up the courage and the energy to clean the fuck out of the house. Adam gets back on the night of the 8th!!

It's insane how fast dishes pile up around here. We don't even eat that much and I feel like I do the dishes all the fucking time.

My house is technically clean, but there is some stuff strewn in a few random places. I think it is presentable, though.

I swear there is a dish monster in all houses that comes in when we are asleep and puts more dirty dishes in our houses

Yeah, it's okay. I pick shit up/throw shit away a couple of times a week. And I can't stand dirty dishes in the sink so...if they've been left by "someone" who was supposed to do them, I'll leave them in the hopes that "someone" will do them.

But I usually end up doing them anyway.

If I know I'm having company from out of town or that might spend the night, the whole house gets cleaned.
