maybe there has been a post like this before, but I'm a noob. Your favorite concerts. To be more specific, favorite opening act and headliner combo. Some of mine are fuzzy, but they'll come back w/out some bored member jogging perhaps.

Sixteen Deluxe/Flaming Lips - Liberty Lunch (RIP)...(16 would have been a good bad if not for junkie lead singer. badass guitarist.)

Fuckemos/Melvins - private show at Electric Lounge - middle of summer in a hot ass club, couldn't breathe, but they rocked. Weird gypsy pupppet show in abandoned train car outside.

Super Furry Animals/The Grifters at Electric Lounge

Spiritualized/Siouxsie and the Banshees - odd combo. Spirit had some weird pink, blue, and purple strobe panels that made you go fetal if you stared at the too long.

Totimoshi/Valient Thorr/Riverboat Gamblers
at the Triple Rock in Minneapolis

I got bashed in the face by a bass at that show. The bass player was very apologetic.

Sonic Boom/FM Einheit w/ Caspar Brotzmann in a club the size of a Port-A-Toilet. Smelled like one too. Lots of grinder sparks that pussies wouldn't get near.

Radiohead/Beck/Deerhoof - Meadowbank Stadium, Edinburgh.

If anyone discovers a better lineup than that, please give me a shout.

I've also enjoyed:

Arcade Fire/Patrick Wolf - Barrowlands, Glasgow.
St.Vincent/The National - ABC, Glasgow

Though admittadly, neither of those lineups exactly win life itself.

The Men Of PORN/Big Business/Melvins (would've been Flipper too but they didn't show Frown) in this tiny venue in Cardiff.

Daniel Johnston/Jad Fair/James McNew/Scout Niblett/Mark Linkous

White Stripes/Queens Of The Stone Age/Satellite Party (who were only good because of the few Jane's Addiction songs they played)

Motorhead/Anthrax

And this was the best:

Pegi Young/Neil Young acoustic solo set/Neil Young electric band set
