3D Reals recently closed it's studios which means the Chinese Democracy of video games, Duke Nukem Forever, is pretty much dead.

There's some leaked footage that came out for the game recently. Looks alright, I guess.

Yeah, I understand that...I just don't get how it got as big as it did.

I haven't really played anything in ages. I've not yet kicked my long-lived infatuation with Starcraft or Diablo, even as I no longer play either, so the new ones are likely to renew my interest somewhat.

I'm pretty sure they won't be releasing Starcraft II until some possible WW III scenario with Korea presents itself. At that point, they'll ship the game out and the entire country will be too distracted for any bloodshed.

I don't know how Katamari got so popular either. I just set the world records and play the game. On Xbox Live people just do it to get achievements. Those non-Katamari playing bastards!


Really, they do piss me off.

My friend just brought his Gamecube to our new apartment, and we've been playing Mario Super Strikers ALL the time lately. And it rocks. I sometimes play Mario Party 7 with my girlfriend, but she kicks my ass everytime, so I try to limit that. :P

And I'm nearing the end of Bioshock, which has been a terrifying and wonderful game thus far.

Other than that, I love the GTA series and Half Life series. I don't play too much on PC anymore beyond that. And Gamecube and N64 games are mostly social recreation at the apartment.

I beat Eternal Sonata last week. Fun game. The final 45-minute cutscene is gibberish, though.

I've since started in on Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion. It's pretty good, but it hasn't grabbed me to the point that I ever feel the need to play for more than 45 minutes at a time.

I'm in the middle of selling all my video games.

I saw that they are coming out with DJ Hero. It's the same concept as Guitar Hero except it has a turntable and a mixer. I think I'll have to get it.

Legend Of Zelda: Ocarina Of Time.

Ocarina of Time is pretty much the best game ever made. I was actually playing piano earlier and started playing something that got stuck in my head. I couldn't figure out what it was, then I realized it was the Windmill Theme from OT. Pretty much made my day.
