I love this show. So many people hate it. Yes, I know it's about a bunch of assholes, but it's still fucking hilarious. That! Smoking a pipe is a big pain in the ass and it doesn't taste as good as it smells.

Although the way pipes work are kind of like that. You're only supposed to take four or five drags really. Re-light as needed.

I used to work in an upscale cigar/pipe tobacco store. Our sales were always higher when I wore a short skirt and smoked a cigar or pipe. I didn't mention that to the owners.

Illegal in the States. You can buy a Cuban seed/Honduran grown cigar, but nothing right from Cuba.
You can get them in Canada, which for me is easy as I am only 20 minutes from Windsor, but of all the Cubans I have somked I never really loved any of them. Strange, but true.

my dad has a pipe collection, and he showed me a few things a few years ago...

the thing with pipes is that, when you smoke out of them, the wood becomes... well, stressed. so, if you intend to smoke regularly from a pipe, you want to have a rotation, much like a pitching staff for a baseball team


and yes, it is true that it is hard to pack them properly -- too hard or too loose and it will be hard to keep it lit

like a cigar, you don't want to smoke it too aggressively

finally, you want to light the pipe with a match
