i had a chance to see a prescreening of it a couple months ago, with certain scenes unfinished. but i went to pete seeger's 90th birthday instead

On one hand, I can see that I'll like the animation and I've so far liked to varying degrees all the Wes Anderson I've seen.

On the other hand, the voice work sounds atrocious.

Bahaha, gotta hand it to him, for better or worst, it looks/feels like a Wes Anderson movie but with foxes.

Also, unlike Darjeeling Express, i want to see this.

Pretty much.

The voices really bug me though. Not that there is anything wrong with Bill Murray or George Clooney or Meryl Streep, but their voices sound so lifeless and bland coming from those animals.

Love Anderson's work, but have been getting tired of the "my parents suck and I'm a mess because of it" story. Was wanting something new from him, don't know if this was quite what I was hoping for????
