For all you beer lovers out there, I think you would appreciate my new job.

I'm excited! I've only been there a few times and it's never been busy, but we'll see how it goes. If this doesn't make me a beer connoisseur, I don't know what will.

I love the Brickskeller. Although that new place on 14th, churchkey, has a lot more taps. I'm all about the taps. And it's stumbling distance from my house.

Still, what nights do you work? Maybe I'll come in and throw things at you when you can't find me a beer from, say, Yemen. Right-quick.

Hey McMurphy, we ate/drank @ the Brickskeller when we were in DC last month.

Wish I'd remembered you lived in DC!

We ended up drinking at The Pharmacy Bar in Adams-Morgan, which reminded us a lot of our favorite bars here in Charlotte.

i went to a very nice little bar in adams-morgan when i was in DC last fall. can't for the life of me remember the name...but i do remember thinking i would definitely hang out there if i lived in the area.

I'm hoping to take Dr. Gonschecki to Uncle Billy's...my second home here in Austin and IMHO, the best brewpub in town. If they don't fall in love with the Hop Zombie and/or the Bitchin' Camaro, then they have no soul. Well, no beer-lovin' soul anyways...

Really? I am all about selling draft beers. Maybe I'll go check out that place, too.

Anyways...I'm not too sure about my work schedule because today was my first day, but I think I'll mostly be working thurs. fri. and sat? It would be awesome if you could stop by!

Yep, sorry. And Brian is a medal-winning brewer. A couple of months ago, he won a gold medal at the GABF for his Hell In Keller...a Keller Bier. That shit is fan-fucking-tastic.

And his Hop Zombie is every bit the hop-monster that the name implies.

Awesome. Well, mine was a one off batch, and while I plan on brewing it again, the name is just something that was being used for discussion. I've heard of Hell In Keller.

Last night I went searching for 2009's Celebration Ale by SN, but instead came home with a few bombers of Estate and Harvest. I'll live.

My friends at Bold City have finally started bottling their beers. The first on is their coffee stout.

Gonz, Total Wine is starting to carry it, so it should be down that way sometime soon.
