My thread was more geared towrads the Jesus Lizard and Sleep performing at ATP in 2009 (though it devolved into being primarily about the motherfucking Jesus Lizard reuniting for a few shows), so it's easy to have not run across it in a search.

I like this one better because it's primarily about the motherfucking Jesus Lizard.

They almost did a one off reunion about five or six years ago, but a drunken and belligerent Chino Moreno apparently killed the entire deal in the final sit down meeting with all the people trying to talk Patton into it.

Was Jim Martin involved in those talks? Because it isn't really Faith No More without him.

I'm not sure he's allowed anywhere near musical equipment anymore after the abomination of a solo album he released.

I haven't heard that album...but now I'm intrigued.

Don't be. I heard it once, in high school, because my friend's brother bought it, and I think that first time through was probably the last time any of us listened to it at all. I can't remember much, but I do recall a staggeringly bad cover of Surprise! You're Dead!

If they did reunite, I hope it's with Martin, and none of the other goobs they've had.
