I actually hope we get a few hurricanes this year since the aquifer needs to be replenished.

i quit smoking (tobacco) over a month ago!

ok i only have a few minutes -- i'm going to make it quick:


the first day was a marathon. i pulled in having not really slept on the plain at 8:30, hopped the train into town and trammed it to the hotel, and then hit the ground running


the Vondelpark is awesome. I'll have pictures later

otherwise i mostly got my bearings for the city and walked all day long. passed out for 12 hours, then got up and rented a bike this morning.


the food is awesome; specifically, the produce is excellent -- i love it here and am looking forward to the Melkweg tonight

i only have a few minutes here --- pics might have to wait until i get back to the states; the only place i can use my laptop here provides a precarious connection, so i can't dependably upload pictures

not to mention that the filters won't let me visit this site because of foul language or some shit



anyway, i am currently in munich, and am overall loving my experience in germany


freiburg is truly gorgeous, but i must say it really reminds me of asheville


i hope all are well and look forward to having more time to describe my trip later

another quick line -- i'm currently in berlin...

hope everyone is well -- this trip has really changed my perspective on a lot of things, and well.. i think i want to live in germany for a while.. maybe after i eliminate some of this student debt, etc.
