I must say that I love J. Michael Straczynski and Jesus Saiz' "The Brave and the Bold". So far they've made two excellent stand alone issues.

Surprisingly enough, this month's Flash/Blackhawks team up was more enjoyable than last month's Batman/Dial H for Hero.

Best book of the week. Well, maybe Chew #5 was. Although, the end of Blackest Night: Superman was really cool too.

I think I'm growing weary and disinterested in The Outsiders. Four months ago I would've laughed at myself for saying that.

It was a fantastic idea having Straczynski taking over writing duties for The Brave & The Bold. Also, great art by Jesus Saiz.

I've read some of the weekly comics.

All i've to say is that i'm extremely grateful to have J.H. Williams III on a monthly comic, drawing in many styles and creating complex layouts in ways that enhance the narrative of the great plots written by Greg Rucka.

Rucka is a great writer.

Have you read Gotham Central, bear?

I'd imagine it has one or two more volumes of the hardcover to come out still, then. It's a wonderful series.

He's also responsible for the two cheapest endings I've read in comic books: the "it was all just a crazy dream" ending to Doom Patrol and the giant reset button ending in Animal Man. I think Grant Morrison can write some great stories (he wrote the best Superman story I've ever read) but the endings to those two series are just lazy.

The ending in no way suggest the entire story was a dream.
