I went out bright and early to HMV (montreal) this morning... no dice. They said they expected it any day though.
Anybody get their's? if so, which version? did you order it? pick it up in a store?

I have the bare bones DVD only copy that I bought at a store. My wife and I watched it last night (she hadn't previously seen it). Somewhat embarrassingly and perhaps a little extravagantly, I have one each of each of the other editions also on order currently + 2 posters (which I already received) and a tshirt (the red one with the oxygen generator device on the front). Okay, I went overboard!

My Deluxe Edition arrived TODAY!

Now begins my planning of the Christmas on Mars X-travaganza Party on the Farm!!!

I got the DVD/CD package from play.com yesterday morning. suffice to say i've watched it three times already one of which was on the projector in the living room with my housemates. I think it may have disturbed them for life.

Still waiting for the mega deluxe and vinyl.

I ordered the Mega-Deluxe but it hasn't come in the mail. I'm a little peeved that I pre-ordered weeks in advance only to now wait for it while it's in stores. The same thing happened with UFOs at the Zoo. But no matter, the wait'll be worth it.

My cd/dvd came in the mail today.

Got it yesterday from Best Buy in Columbia, MO, a 60 mile drive from my house.

I called them to insure that they had it, and a very sweet young lady informed me, that yes, "The Flapping Lips movie" was in stock, and yes, that she'd hold a copy back for me.

I already watched it, once, and really enjoyed it.

My friends and I are going to purchase some acid within the next few days and try watching it again. If I experience any momentous life changing realizations, you all will be the first to know ;-)

i was one lucky one that actually got my preorder on release date (& autographed).

I made my second trip down to HMV on weds and the girl there informed me that sometimes smaller releases like this get delayed because they have to get some sort of language sticker from the quebec govt... might be another week or so before i get a copy. ugh.

Got my CD/DVD on monday, good stuff. Soundtrack is good but it's not a true Flaming Lips album (not that we ever expected it to be).
