Ok, the Cinema Purgatorio website has had a link for a long time to a showing at the Music Box Theatre on December 5 & 6. But at their website, it has never shown up on the calendar. Is it really gonna happen there?

Meanwhile, there is a new listing for a showing at the U of Chicago in late January.

I want to see one of the 35mm prints. I'm delaying seeing the movie any other way (though I really thought my golden ticket should be here by now...but then it can be hard to tell with 100% certainty that an online purchase went all the way through sometimes and maybe I need to reorder.)

Anyway, what's up in Chicago? It's my best shot at seeing it in a groovy place and I already told a great old friend there who saw the Lips with me quite a few times....

it's on the midnight movies schedule. advance tix on sale....I know if I buy more than one for myself I'll end up eating it due to bailures. My amigos who all say they wanna go are on their own.
