of course i ordered the mega deluxe edition of christmas on mars - especially since i saw that the tshirts came in size small. i get my package, and at the time, didnt see all of the items that were supposed to be included. i emailed warner bros customer service and they told me to send the whole thing back. i had already opened the tshirt, and mentioned that that could just send me back the same stuff, but to include the additional items. after not hearing anything back, i called and spoke to a really nice woman, who said that they received a memo (after i had contacted customer service and sent the package back) that the missing items were actually packaged inside the popcorn - ridiculous, since i never intended to open the popcorn, but whatever. she told me someone would be contacting me in 24-48hrs and that i would get my new package. over a week later (today), i got my phone call and the guy (although very nice and understanding) told me that there were no more smalls available, only large! what the fuck! im tiny - i cant wear a large! i am totally crushed because i was so excited to get a flaming lips shirt that actually fit me, and now after paying $60, i cant even have that. not to mention i have waited years for this fucking movie, pre-orderded it the day the email went out, had it in my hands, and STILL havent gotten to watch it because of this shit. LIPS, i love you guys, i know its not your fault, but im fucking irate!

maybe you could wash the large t-shirt in hot water enough times that it will become a small t-shirt. seems to happen to me all the time.

I just missed my big chance to see the movie in a really cool theater with a bunch of Flaming Lips freaks in their hometown away from hometown...because of a huge freakin' snow storm. whaddya know, a snow storm at Christmas time, who woulda thought?

and the goodies in the popcorn box weren't all that exciting, I'm sure you could run some card stock through your printer and make your own.

maybe this will lead you to go see the movie somewhere instead and you'll meet a whole bunch of really cool flaming lips fans instead of watching it on some crappy little TV screen.

anyway, life is tough all over. that's why there's flaming lips music. I'll quit rambling now.

Yep. We traveled 2 and a half hours just to see it in a theater with other Flaming Lips fans.

They were really not as cool as I thought they would be. Most of them were kinda snobby. A few of them were fun and there to have a good fucking time! We liked them. The others took it all waaaaaaay too seriously.

ok, so to supplement my original post...a couple of weeks after i talked to the wea rep on the phone about not having anymore shirts in a size small, i got an email from wea saying that now the mega deluxe was sold out and on backorder. so i went from preordering in the beginning of november to now being backordered in december. so i called to find out if now that the package was backordered if i could get my shirt in a size small. i talked to a rep and he had no idea, couldnt help me. fast foward to this past monday, jan 5. i got my package! alas, the shirt was in a large, but i had already assumed it would be - what pissed me off this time was the popcorn. the popcorn in my original order was signed, and this one wasnt. now my great great grandchildren will have one less piece of flaming lips memorabilia to have in their collection. i regret ever buying the damn mega deluxe. i shouldve just gone to FYE and bought the damn thing in store.
