Amazon.com listings claim that Christmas on Mars will be released on Tuesday, October 28. This falls in line with everything that we have heard about it being released in mid to late October. Hopefully it doesn't get bumped back like UFOs At the Zoo.

Stand-alone DVD - $17.99

DVD with CD soundtrack - $24.98

EDIT: The date is now listed as November 11.

Cool

It doesn't say the DVD/CD combo has the movie. Are you sure it's both?

The DVD/CD combo has the movie. It's the same exact DVD as the stand-alone version.

So....
Still no word on a Blu-Ray version?

I would think they would considering the screenings are Blu-Ray. Or so I've heard.

I'm still sore about Sasquatch putting the kibosh on the 3rd screening, the bastards!!

Sounds good to me! We should have a viewing/birthday bash, with a Zaireeka after-party, and a Bonnaroo 2007 pre-party! Who's in?

What year were you born? I was born on the ultra lucky 11/11/77... I do well in Vegas!

Cheers!

Oh my... I hope WC doesn't see this and decide that 11/11/11 would be the perfect day to release CoM! One year before the calendar ends...

Those song-titles alone are a mindfuck, I hate to think what the actual movie will do to my brain. Destroy it?!

Wow. I would assume that the generic CoM songs would be on there like "Xantha Terra" or "Syrtis Major" would be on there. I hope that the song from the REALLY old trailer would be on there. You know, the one that goes "It's Christmas time again" over and over with the beeps that eventually form a chord.

Good call - I think "Syrtis Major" is fantastic. Will the song that begins the old CoM trailer with the lyrics, "it's Christmas time again" appear on the soundtrack? I don't recall hearing it (the lyrics, at least) in the film, but it's one I've wanted to hear for years.

P.S. I broke down yesterday and got tickets to the Rock Honors - looking forward to seeing that 1971 Keith Moon impression. Smile

I don't think that song will be on it either as it's not used in the movie.
