I called customer service and the guy just said it shouldn't be backordered, they still have the release date in their system as 11/25 he did verify that, they sent an email to the people that handle the shipping and I've still yet to get any response back after two emails and now this call.

I just want to know whats going on or how long it will be till they ship it, and if they can't tell me that somethings wrong with this company

mines on back order as well, cancelled my Amazon pre order on 25th as they said could not get it to me (UK) till after xmas, ordered from the lips store thinking I would get a better chance of getting it but no such luck!!!

will ones in the store be any different than what you can order online?

So here it is, Friday, and still no vinyl.

I just called customer service for the second time. On Tuesday, they told me it was shipped on Monday, and that I should expect it either Wedsnday or today. Today, the guy on the other end told me that it was backordered. Of course, when I told him what they told me on Tuesday, he found that "strange", and also found it "strange" that I never even got an email telling me about it. They have their release date listed as 11/25/2008.

website says customer service is open on sat so they should be open right now according to the hours posted on the site I called and it says they are closed, they were open last night but I was on hold for like 40 minutes and hung up before I had a chance to talk to anyone

I called again and they were completely worthless as usual. They say they have no info.

This is crap... at least when the UFO's at the Zoo DVD got delayed we saw it reflected on sites such as Amazon with a different release date. Everywhere still says this thing should have come out November 24, but I have yet to see anyone get theirs. The least they could do is at least make some form of statement telling us it's going to be delayed instead of leaving us in limbo!

Why do I have this sudden sinking feeling I'll never have the vinyl package shipped to my house?

And no, I never received that e-mail. To me that paints a pretty bleak picture.

I read somewhere that production of vinyl is somewhat restricted of late. The number of pressing plants went down but demand for vinyl has been creeping back up.

Still wondering if the online version will be any different than the store version. I don't really need an extra copy of the DVD, but I do want the extra single...

I KNOW that when I originally ordered that they charged my card. I went back and looked at my bank statement online a few days ago, and it wasn't there anymore. I was told by them over the phone that I would be charged when the vinyl was getting ready to ship. I just looked at my bank account today and I have been charged as of today. Hmm...... anyone else notice a charge?

So has anyone besides A Pink Robot seen this in stores? I emailed WB bitching them out, and they insisted that the vinyl is not in stores yet. I haven't seen it in my stores which are usually well stocked.

Is Pink Robot confused, or is WB lying?

Sorry about that... no, I didn't see it in stores. That was based on some false information I was given by a friend of mine. Didn't mean to get anyone's hopes up. I should have mentioned that here earlier.

I was charged when I pre-ordered it. But now I can't find that charge on my account, anywhere.

Good to know it's not yet in stores, but I'm awfully confused as to why it doesn't seem to exist anywhere in vinyl format.

I guess 2-3 weeks would be some time around Christmas. I told them I would still like to continue with my order.
