Who's going?
I am so looking forward to this festi. Phil Lesh, P-Funk, and the Lips all sharing the same weekend and the lineup doesn't stop there.

I am seriously starting to consider this festival... Medeski SCOFIELD Martin and Wood! I caught them in Vancouver just a few days before the Lips show here last September - it was AMAZING! If you like MMW then you've got to see them with Sco...

Not to mention the camp grounds sound simply gorgeous!

The schedule is up. Lips go on at 10 on Friday. Only one major schedule conflict for me P-Funk and EOTO are on at the same time. Easy choice though. Two other minor conflicts. I already ordered my tix. Camping at the Lake Sallie site.

i'll be there i can't fucking wait! i have already missed two festivals this summer due to money and its not happening with this one.

looks like iclips.net is doing a webcast for this...including the lips

What could happen? A little hail....tent flying away. Wait, that was last festival.

It's is far... I would pretty much HAVE to fly this time to get there with any time to spare @ all... but it would be a new adventure!

If I'm entertaining the idea, you should too -- that's a huge part of the experience: seeing the band, yea, but being with friends n enthusiastic, like minded people is incredible.

yeah....I don't fly. I'm so broke with moving and stuff right now I'm not sure it will happen. Maybe some miracle will happen and my student loans will come in early this semester.

I just looked it up on mapquest......it's only about 13 hours from here. 20 when you factor in the 'susie is lost' hours.

I'm looking up plane tickets right now and it's actually the same/cheaper to fly to MN as it would have been for me to fly to AL. Not as bad as I thought... At this point, tho I got NO money.. this would be a straight credit card deal and I'm just wondering what the fall holds. I mean, I got impatient last year and ended up in Vancouver when they ended up playing my backyard the next WEEK (hit that too, but still had I known there were TX dates coming too I don't think I ever would have entertained the idea of going to Vancouver.)

I just checked into plane tickets, even though the thought is...*ugh*...not going to think about it. I think either way, it's going to be too much for me. Maybe they will have some closer dates later in the year. Oh, say, NYE.

I'd just be going for the F'Lips and The Bad Plus, who are probably the two best shows I've seen so far. And P-Funk of course. I've already seen the F'Lips twice and the Bad Plus twice, and I dunno if I'll be able to get time off work. Besides the F'Lips, P-Funk, and the Bad Plus, I listen to none of the other artists on the roster (although I've been recommended MMW quite a few times) so I dunno if this is worth the $140 fee.

It's next week. Who's going?

It was neat to get to watch this on iclips last night! Looked like a good time was had by all.
