Why has this never happened? I just assumed that the band would do some performances playing along as a live soundtrack to the movie. Seemed like a no-brainer.
    I know a great restored movie palace with a huge stage and orchestra pit....and a giant organ that comes up on hydraulics. It would be perfect. Just give me a holler and I'll set it up.

I think it would be special to see this as well. Snow machines can't be that expensive to rent, can they?

However, more realistically, I'm looking forward to the new album and having their live set changed up a bit.

Yeah I remember hearing that idea thrown around and thinking "sounds obvious..." and it's definitely something wacky/genius enough for the lips to do.

The live set changeup will be good in my eyes but as long as they keep 'riding to work in 2025' and pompeii. i've never caught them playing either of those songs and they're possibly my two all time favourite lips songs. Fingers crossed they keep them on the set Smile

got to hear both of those songs at my last show. i had heard they were doing pompeii, but i couldn't fucking believe when riding to work started.... awesome. easily the highlights from the set.

Fuck man, they should somehow interlace the film into the ufo show!!! That be pretty cool. With lasers. I think that shit's the coolestSmile
