At Dfest I saw the Flaming Lips for the first time.

then @ redrocks

then @ death march

then @ NYE OKC

then @ Rocktown

Can't wait to see what's next...

Similar story...

(first saw the lips at Lallapalooza, but don't count it because it was when I was in my "I'm really tired of hearing this fucking song (Jelly) phase")

So, the first show I really count is D-Fest.

Then Uptown Theater in Kansas City.

Then NYE in OKC.

Then Wakarusa in KC.

One of the reasons I feel fortunate to live in the midwest.

Wasn't the dfest atmosphere awesome with all the buildings and stuff... Wish I would have went to the uptown show. That looked like a cool venue.

yup, the Dfest experience was nice. And uptown was a nice change. Smaller venue, indoors held the smoke, lazers, and balloons, I was maybe 15 feet from the stage... and what can be better than the lips playing 25 minutes from my home?

Now if I can catch them playing at a record store... Big Grin
