Soundz like you motherfuckers reeeeally want Bobby McFerrin to join the band. Why even bother with instruments when a person can just make all the noises. Maybe the boyz should just hire Bobby McFerrin. YOU want a Bobby McFerrin, The Lips need a Bobby McFerrin & now I want a Bobby McFerrin.

BOBBY MCFERRINS FOR EVERYONE!

Hows'bout d'at?

As much as the music sounds like it, it's not 1982 anymore.

Why the fuck would i want OTHER people to play MY music. I don't want Captain Waffles Fucking Orchestra backing me up when i have the software to do it all on my own.

Bwhahahhahaha.....

Personally, I'd like to see them do away with the confetti, dancing animals/santas/aliens and hamster ball and just concentrate on the music. Not that I don't enjoy the eye candy, but I've seen enough of it. It's been virtually the same stage show since 2002...at this point, it's kinda boring.

Hell, I'll throw the backing tapes in there as well. They sound fine, but they add (for me) an uncomfortable predictability to the show. I'd rather see the band in a stripped-down format...one where if Steven decided on a whim, "Hey, we should play Godzilla Flick right now!"...then they have that freedom. It bugs me that now, even if he did have that spark of inspiration, they couldn't play it because it's not next on the VCR tape that they're playing to...ya dig?

This next album is critical imo & if it doesn't hold up then the band might wanna think about making some serious changes.... AGAIN.

& im fine with that... as long as im the one they consult Big Grin

Maaaaaaaaaaybe i should join the band & push them into the future WHERE THEY BELONG.

has anyone seen this on wikipedia?

On July 14, Wayne Coyne announced the band have started work on the follow-up to At War With the Mystics, stating that "some of it sounds like John Lennon but if he got together with Miles Davis and they went back in time, but there was a supercomputer that they could figure out how to work!"

I don't know what I think about Miles Davis and Lennon together...
