I really like your screenname because there's letters that, when put together, form words.

I'm glad you like it?

I really like that question mark because you phrased your statement as a question.

Side A [25:11]
1. Scorpio Sword [1:52]
Since I feel none of these songs are a really good album opener, it would make sense to use one of the instrumentals. Scorpio Sword is perfect, being essentially a minute of the band vamping, and then a cinematic introduction. Also, since the album is more-or-less entirely jam-based, this song is like the band warming up. Crossfade the harp at the end into the harp of the beginning of…
2. Silver Trembling Hands [4:01]
This is the most accessible song of the batch, I think it’s best used as the lead song of the album, to let the listeners get their feet wet, so to speak, since the rest of the songs progressievely get more experimental; a kind of warm up to what's to come. Crossfade into…
3. The Sparrow Looks up At The Machine [4:09]
This track grows on you, huh? A good second song to keep the momentum going.
4. Evil [5:38]
5. Your Bats [2:34]
6. Powerless [6:57]

SIDE B [24:59]
7. The Ego’s Last Stand [5:39]
8. Convinced of the Hex [3:54]
I really don’t think this as a strong enough song to lead the album; to me it sounds like a second song on side B, which is how I’ve sequenced it.
9. Sagittarius Silver Announcement [3:07]
10. Worm Mountain [5:21]
11. Aquarius Sabotage [1:46]
The problem I’ve felt is that the final track is a but sudden, and I think requires a lead-in to build to it, hence using the instrumental Aquarius Sabotage. I think of it as a cinematic finale (begun by Scorpio Sword) and beginning of the closing credits. Clip that ending and crossfade into...
12. Watching The Planets [5:12]

I'm gonna just program my cd player for this experiment. It's interesting, definitely a wicked 50 minute album in there.

Wow, the more I listen, the more this album grows on me. Actually, I don't even want to listen to the "edit" anymore. If it wasn't for me borrowing my CD to my brother, I'd be listening to the real version right now!
