No, I didn't talk to Dave Grohl at all. He was so busy strutting around and trying to look cool that I'm sure he wouldn't have had time to talk to me even if I so desired.

Bwhahahhahaa.

Kliph, Did it seem weird to be playing for a VH1 show?
Did anyone say "hey Kliph...knocking over that drum set would be rad!" Or did you just get in the moment of it all and want to destroy something?
Very bad ass I must say.

Oh, oh....and was the crowd really as lame as they appeared to be?
Or were they rocking out?

Like I said before, it was Dave Fridmann's idea for me to knock the drums over.

And I was so nervous and focused on the task at hand that I honestly didn't even notice the audience.

On another note, whats your favorite Olympic sport?

The drums are just fine, but thanks for checking.

Favorite olympic sport? I'm not really sure. Whichever one has the most amount of women in it, I reckon.

I hope so. He played me some stuff a couple of years ago that was amazing. I do know that he and Steven have been working on a children's record that is fucking amazing so far.

A New Year's Eve show is 99% certain. It will surely be announced soon, but I'm not going to be the one to do it.

Of course their sound system will probably fry, but it's worth it to me. The smell will go along nicely with the the movie.

You should send me a PM and I'll see what I can do as far as getting you some info.

She played a couple of songs that I really liked, but I was pretty fascinated by the girls.

No, I call pudding "pudding" and Jello "Jello". Never the twain shall meet. I'll be sure to tell Craig the next time I see him.

All I really know of him is old White Zombie stuff. I'm not much of a fan. I did help them load in when they played the Outhouse in 1992 and they were all really sweet, but, yeah, I don't really dig the music and I haven't kept up with his solo albums or his movies.

And refer to it, as the same type of following?
Do you like The Grateful Dead? Smile

Ps. You kick serious Ass Kliph.

Well, each festival is different and some are more enjoyable than others. That being said, I don't enjoy festivals as much as our own shows because we have to set up and start playing so quickly and they don't feel as comfortable and relaxed as when we're doing our own shows. But I do love playing, so I'll take any opportunity I can get. And, yes, I've run into plenty of smelly hippies. And it doesn't bother me when people compare us to the Grateful Dead. I don't see any similarities there (with the exception of the singer having a greying beard), but all that shit is subjective and everybody's going to have their own take on it. And, no, I don't like the Grateful Dead. And thanks for the compliment.

I don't think it's ever come up. It would be neat, though. Then again, the Beatles, Kiss and Guns N' Roses sold millions of records as opposed to the thousands that the Lips sell.
